Hi,

I need to find out how I can get to Sea World from WDW.

I'm in the process of arranging transportation for our trip the last week of July. There are 4 adults and 1 9 yo in our party. We will be meeting up at the airport and staying at AKL for 7 nights.

A couple of us want to take a day and go to Sea World. I am trying to figure the cost of renting a car vs. not for the

I have found a rate for a standard size car (which would fit all of us to/from the airport) for $205 (E-Z) and limo for $90 RT.

Clearly the limo would be the way to go if we aren't going out of WDW proper. But, I haven't found any info on how I can get, by Disney or public transport, from WDW to Sea World.

Is there a bus or shuttle that run on a regular basis that would do the trick? Or would a taxi be available and at what price?

Oh, and do any of you have any experience with E-Z Rent A Car??

I very much appreciate any advice. This site is fantastic - I've been reading posts and learning so much. You guys are really invaluable!!

Thanks,
Joyce

Most of the limo services will also provide transportation to Seaworld. I believe it is around $60. You can also take the public bus from the TTC directly to Seaworld. If you go to the Seaworld forum there are a couple of threads regarding this. I believe the website for the city bus is golynx.com.

I always rent a car for every trip. We usually do offsite shopping, go to Universal, visit Celebration, eat at or near downtown disney. Gives you freedom and flexibility.

I like to rent from the onsite MCO retnal car companies like Dollar or Naitonal. Good discount codes at mousesavers.com

I don't know anything abou EZ Rent other than they are offsite. The smaller companies tend to pressure customers more for extra insurance (which you don't need).

herc..

Hi Joyce and welcome to the disboards!! I did the SeaWorld via Lynx last summer. It was extremely easy. You pick it up at the TTC. Their stop is just behind the WL stop or at least it was then. Then, it is about $1.25 per person each way. Have the correct change. Tell the driver (be sure you do this...we didn't and ended up walking a fair way!) that you want to go to SeaWorld. They will then drop you off at the parking lot. You just cross the parking lot and you're there. Return trip, you just cross the street and the stop is right there. Another $1.25 each. I believe the bus comes about every 20-25 minutes. The windows at the TTC have a schedule or you can find one on their website. It was really easy and we would do it again.

Thanks for the info!!

I had read about Lynx somewhere. Glad to know it is so easy (and cheap doesn't hurt!!).

Looks like we won't need to rent a car (unless we decide to go to Cape Canaveral or something).

Thanks again.

Joyce
