We will be visiting San Diego next month to go to the Chargers game on Sept. 9. (Monday night). I've been researching parking options and it looks like taking the Green Line trolley may be our best bet. Which station is the best parking option? We will be staying in Carlsbad and driving down that afternoon. (Not too early; out of town fans and don't want to be heckled too much for cheering for the visiting team) Thanks!

Here is the transit website. http://www.sdmts.com/Trolley/TrolleyStationInfo.asp#Green

Having done this a couple of times I can tell you that when you leave the game you want to be going EASTbound. Towards 70th street and Santee. You may only have to wait a couple of trains. If you make the mistake of traveling westbound-towards Old Town- good luck.

The farther you ride the better chance you have of actually sitting. If your close to the Q close to kickoff you may not get aboard a train. They fill up much like those videos you see of Tokyo subways.

Thanks! . I revised our map (I printed the MTS trolley route map) and marked stations East of the stadium.
