Transportation to Kennedy Space Center

We are going to be in WDW 10/20-26. We are bringing our ex-change student from Germany with us and he has a passion for anything that flies. He would LOVE to go to KSC, but the rest of us have no interest (I have already been there and know my DD's would not enjoy this). I called one shuttle service I found in one of the WDW tourism books and they want 95.00 each way! It would be a nice surprise for him but not at that price, we are only paying 151.00 to fly RT from Chicago.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

You can call mears. I think they have a bus going every day.
And i think its only $25.00.
