transportation to kennedy center?

the only thing DH wants out of 8 days at the world is a day at kennedy space center. pretty good eh?! other than renting a car, how would i get there? how do i make arrangements? how do i find out costs? there's 4 of us - what's the approx cost (and other pros & cons) difference between renting and taking a shuttle/tour?

There is a shuttle tour to Kennedy. I don't know the name but I am sure you can find it out.

I would recomment renting a car and driving yourselves.

We stayed in Cape Canaveral and took a shuttle to the Kennedy Space Center, which was fine except for the fact that all of the simulators and hands on activities are at Astronaut Hall of Fame (a different location than the main complex)! So we missed out on all of the "fun" activities.

If we had have had our own car we could have just drove to the Hall of Fame because our tickets included the whole Space Center.

Now they were really nice and refunded my $$ back because we did not know that it was not all at one place.
