Transportation to/from WWOS

Heading down in two days! Does anyone know if Disney provides easy and frequent transportation to Wide World of Sports for those picking up their stuff for the races next weekend? I figured on taking a taxi, but then it occurred to me that there may be some direct Disney-provided options.

Yes. From host resorts.

I highly recommend reading the runner info and FAQs on rundisney.com as well as downloading the event program for your race also found on rundisney.

Most Disney resorts have transport to WWoS during race weekends. I caught the bus at BW in Nov. if you go to runDisney, they will have a list of the resorts that offer transportation.

I believe transportation is being provided from all Disney resorts for Princess weekend, plus Swan/Dolphin & SOG.

Make sure to find out where the pick-up point is located; it's not the same as Disney Transport at most resorts.

Sure wish they had transport from the S/D during the Food and Wine Half Marathon/5K weekend! I had to trek over to BW to get to WWoS as well as to the race venue. Big pain in the neck.

The trend seems to be to expand the races into multi-day events, adding in more and more shorter races. Maybe the F&W 1/2 will eventually get big enough that they'll offer transportation from all the resorts.
