I will be arriving at Orlando at 12:45pm and plan to take a towncar to WL. Since I don't want to use a pass for half a day, I had planned to maybe tour the resorts to view the decorations, maybe go to DTD, but also might go to the Disney outlet stores to get souveniers. Without a car, what is the easiest way to get there? Take a bus? Take a taxi? Are there more than one outlet stores? Any help would be appreciated.

In the past, we've used Mears to go to Belz Mall Outlet. They have regularly scheduled trips twice a week (but I can't remember what days, sorry).

Hi

You can pick up the LYNX bus at the Disney transportation centre .
It's $1.25 each way and you need to ask for a transfer you take bus 50 from transportation centre then transfer to #8 bus. It takes 45 min to 1hr depending on how many stops the bus makes. It's very easy to do and saves $30 taxi fare. It's a good alternative if your not in a hurry . You can take the bus there and taxi back and save some money.

There is also a Disney Outlet at the Orlando Premium Outlet mall which is actually pretty close to Downtown Disney. Maybe about a 3 mile ride or so.. If you have to take a cab, it may be less expensive ride there. They (the Disney Outlet store) have much of the same things that the Belz Outlets have and it is set up similarly. They have a Universal Outlet there right across from the Disney one. This mall is all outdoors, so keep that in mind, but it is actually very nice and has many more upscale outlets than Belz does. Belz is great too, we always try to go to both malls when we visit, but we always rent a car. The Orlando Premium Outlets are nice because they are so much closer though..

Last year when we were at the Wyndham Palace (DTD area), we took a taxi to the Premium Outlet Mall. Actually, they called us a towncar, but the driver charged us $8 flat rate. I'm guessing if you take a taxi, it might be a few dollars cheaper...
