transportation to Donald's breakfast at 8:00

We are camping at FW in October and I have an 8:00 ADR for Donalds Breakfastosaurus. The CM was trying to discourage me from this early time as she said that Disney transportation does not start running until one hour before park opening (9:00). I thought I remember reading that people who took the bus actually got to AK for an 8:00 ADR before people driving, as the lot doesn't officially open until 8:00. Am I going to be able to make it to AK for an 8:00 ADR? Help!

We took the bus to AK for our 8:00am reakfast. i think they start around 7 am.

We were at the Wilderness Lodge and were at the bus stop at 7 am (we had 8 am ressies). The bus shows up at 7:40 and I asked the driver if we would make it in time, he said I should have been out at the stop much earlier than 7 am (DH said to him, I didnt know we had to sleep at the bus stop).

We were late and ran to the restaurant and once I explained what happened they sat us right away (they say it happens all the time).

That also happened to us. We waited for almost an hour and went inside to check with a CM, she said she'll call for a bus and next time notify them and they will call a bus to pick us up. So, we'll definetly do that next time. I would advise you to do the same. The only way to get in that early is via Disney bus. Car and taxi's are not allowed in before opening hours.

We stayed at the All Star Movies and had an 8:00 reservation...I had asked at the front desk and they had said that the bus for those will pick us up earlier for that. We stood out in the line, I can't remember what time we got picked up, but we made it there before they opened up for guests. So we stood at the AK front gates then people literally ran to get there once we were allowed in...as if they would get a better table!! LOL

We stayed at POFQ and had 8:15 ADR's and got there in plenty of time. This was on Thanksgiving 2005 so I really don't remember what time we caught the bus but we only waited a few minutes for one to arrive and got to AK in plenty of time.

I remember there being no one at the entrance and the walk to the restuarant was pretty cool because we were pretty much the only ones in the park. They did have the photographer waiting on the bridge and we got a really nice picture of just us in AK with the Tree of Life in the background. It was great and I plan on trying to do this again when we go this year.

We have done several 8:00 breakfasts and have never had a problem with getting there on time. The buses start running at 7:00 am.

Hmm, good question! I've never encountered that. My first thought is you could park in the TTC then bus over to the park but I'd ask the experts on the Transporation board. There are actual Disney transporation people there.

What if you have an 8:00 ressie but aren't staying on disney property to have access to their bussing?

It's been a couple of years, but when we went the parking lot opened at 8:00am for personal cars/taxis (one hour before park opening that day). I wanted to drive instead of having to get up earlier to make sure we would catch the bus. Our ADR's were at 8:00am but no one said anything because we checked in a few minutes late. They can't expect everyone to want/be able to use Disney transportation (and be able to check in on time since they won't let you in yet).
