Transportation to and from Typhoon Lagoon?

I was reading some where that after 2:00 they did not have bus service to the resorts ? What exactly is this all about and is this still going on? If so where do they take people if not to their resort?

After 2:00 the TL buses only drop off at Epcot.

By the way, if you post transportation questions on the transportation board you'll generally get better answers than you will here.

Thanks. I did post this question on the transportation board about 5 days ago and never got one answer.

This happened to us when we went to TL last time. They bussed everyone to DTD and you had to get off there and find your resort bus. It was a royal pain- took us over an hour to get back to AKL.

I think I did hear that the transfer point was changed to Epcot, not sure if that has helped. But I told DH that next time we're driving!

It is now at Epcot because of the DTD construction.

I don't think so, but ask over on the transportation board to find out for sure.

It sounds like a pain. I think we will leave before 2:00.

Blizzard Beach has direct resort routes until closing. There is more room for more busses. TL can't handle that many busses in it's loop, so all of the busses go to Epcot, and then you get in your resort bus line there. It really isn't that big of a deal.

I don't know the answer to this question because I have never stayed at BC, but Disney isn't going to strand everyone that stays at BC at TL. Might be a good question to as the front desk at the BC, or the bus driver when you get on the bus to go to TL.

I just spoke to the IPO at the Beach Club... during this time there WILL be a bus from Epcot to the BC after 2 pm to accommodate guests that are staying at the BC.

They anticipate that this will still be a while to keep traffic away from Downtown Disney.

But they are taking guests to the resorts before 2:00 right?

Does anyone know if cabs are readily available at TL for those of us who want to just pony up the cash and go directly back to our resort? Or would we have to call for a cab ourselves and then wait?

That's what I am planning to do as well to get back to my resort (cab). I may download the Uber app before I go to Florida.
