Transportation time between parks

Our family of 4 is going on our first Disney trip in September. I am curious about travel times between the parks and to/from the Art of Animation. I know the resort is not open, but it is close to other resorts. What are past experiences for wait times and travel times using Disney transportation. Is it quicker to drive to the parks and utilize the free parking? Thank you!

it can be quicker or it can be longer to drive it depends on where you are going and what time, sometimes in the afternoon disney will make you park very far away despite their being open spots closer which adds a lot to travel time to and from the park since you need to ride the tram. as for travel times no one really knows from that resort yet but since its close to pop (they were planned as the same resort as one point) id guess the travel times would be close to the same.

It is almost always faster to drive to the parks. With the exception of MK. There you have to park at the TTC, then possibly take the tram to the main staging area. Then either monorail or ferry over to MK. Otherwise, driving is faster.
