Our flight is scheduled to arrive at LAX at 1:30 in the afternoon on the Friday before Thanksgiving. I am going to try very hard to only have carry ons, so we should not have to go to baggage claim, but I'm sure we will need to make a restroom stop. I still haven't finalized our ground transportation yet (any suggestions?), we were initially thinking of renting a car but now that we have decided we are only doing DL and neither of us are crazy about the idea of driving in CA, we decided to go with either a shuttle or a town car service. I'm leaning towards a town car now, simply because there are 5 of us so rt car service might be comparable to 5 rt shuttle passes, and it would almost certainly be faster since it was only taking us directly to PP and not making other stops.

Anyway, my question is, at that time of day, on a Friday afternoon, what time approximately do you think we will arrive at PP?

Depends entirely on traffic. If no traffic, and you are using a towncar, I would estimate 45 minutes from leaving the airport. Shuttles or the Disneyland Express will take longer as there are pick ups at the various terminals.

Because of the fires, traffic is actually MUCH lighter than normal... you are going so far off, it shouldn't be the case anymore. We had all carryons, and a car picked us up right as we got out of security. 35 minute drive, cruise control on 70 the whole way. This was 9:30 am on a Wednesday and the same at 5:30 PM on a Sunday (returning.)
