I know that when you stay at the POP Century and take the bus from the resort to the Magic Kingdom you bypass the TTC / monorail and go straight to the Magic Kingdom gate.

Is there a ticket booth there to purchase tickets if you don't have them already or are they only available at the TTC?

We've always had our tickets prior to going to the gate, so I've never paid any attention to whether they are available at the park entrance.

You can buy your tickets at POP, when you check in. I think the guest services window at the MK will sell tickets but why wait in another line?

There is one maybe two guest relation windows to the right of the gates at MK where you can purchase tickets. It would probably be easier however to get your tickets at your hotel.

Thanks for all the info.

I realize that we can buy the tickets at the resort when we check in if we want to and that it would probably be quicker and easier than standing in another line.

We already have park hopper passes from an earlier trip. We want to get just a day entry into the Magic Kingdom since we won't be park hopping and why waste the more expensive ticket.

We also don't want to buy tickets in advance just in case for whatever reason we don't get to the parks while we are there.

I will check with the desk at the POP Century first to make sure there is a ticket booth at the entrance.

A one day non park hopper will cost you about $63.00 for a non FL res or $56.00 for a FL res.

Thanks for that info too HappyDznyCamper.

We haven't bought any single entry day passes for a long time and I didn't know what the current price was.

If you end up buying any sort of park tickets, they never expire if you never use them -- they expire 14 days after first use, NOT 14 days after purchase. Tickets bought without the non-expiration feature (which costs more) never expire if they are never used. So whether you buya one-day pass or a 10-day pass, if you buy it today but don't use it, you COULD use it next week, next year, or 10 years from now.

If it were me, and I thought I might go to a park just one day and I already have a ticket with one day left, I'd use that ticket instead of shelling out $63. Yes, you say you have a hopper and you won't be hopping this time, but to me, I'd rather save $63 today versus a theoritical few bucks that I spent in the past and won't use for some time into the future. Just the way I'd do it ....

Hmm, I suppose I could look at it that way too.

What if something were to happen and I could never use up the parkhoppers that I have now. :scratchin Might be better to use them while I know that I can.
