Transportation - Resort to Mini Golf

Do the busses run from the resorts to the miniture golf locations?

The buses do not go to the mini golf sites. There is a bus that goes to Bizzard Beach so you can walk over to the Winter Summerland golf...of course this is only available while Blizzard Beach is open.

ON FOOT: From Disney's BoardWalk Resort, cut through the resort lobby to the Boardwalk. Turn left and continue to the end between Atlantic Dance and Jelly Rolls Piano Bar. Cross the bridge toward the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and continue straight ahead to the street. Fantasia is on the left and the tennis courts are on the right. (If the big tent is set up, guests may walk through the tent.)

I am not sure if the comment is true about only available while Blizzard Beach is open. We drove to Winter Summerland Golf on November 22 and BB was closed. We asked the CM if the buses were running since BB was closed. We were told they were. Having said that though, we never saw a bus while we were at the holes which overlooked the bus depot. It might be they have a person there to call the buses if someone is waiting.

take the bus from your resort to mgm, and then walk to fantasia gardens, or boat to swan, and then walk to fantasia gardens.

I know in Dec. 2001 we took a bus to Winterland/Summerland and BB was closed.

We asked the "bus transportation coordinator" (not their title but that is how I thought of them) at the All Star Movies who directed us to bus that was also going somewhere else (the AK??). The exact details are sketchy - it has been a while. We found that person (who's job seemed to be timing buses and monitoring the crowd very helpful in answering all our questions)

As someone else mentioned Fantasia is near the SWAN/Dolphin (be careful crossing the road).

This happened to us. We were at WS late and BB had been closed for about 1 hr. The busses did still run but very intermittantly. If you go this route I would hop on the first bus you see and go to a 'hub' to transfer to your bus. We were going back to POR and ended up on a POP bus. I did find the bus drivers extremely nice and outgoing - ours dropped us off at POR (he called in to 'dispatch' to check and I guess they are able to switch routes depending on crowd levels etc at certain places, so he was able to do this for us).

To get to Blizzard Beach (On Request Only), you can take the Animal Kingdom bus to Blizzard Beach even when its closed, but what you have to do is "Ask the Bus Driver first" if you don't ask the bus won't stop at Blizzard Beach, also guest staying at the All Stars should ask the "Epcot Bus driver" and Guest at the AK Lodge should "Ask the Studio Driver" otherwise its always the Animal Kingdom routes that goto Blizzard Beach.

To Get Back from Blizzard Beach, only the Epcot Bus runs so you have to goto Epcot and Change Buses to get to your resort.

Thanks for the great answer! I copied and pasted it into my notes for my trip. We will be having two free rounds of golf and wasn't sure how to get there.

One more note: Blizzard Beach is due to open back up on Dec 25th this month, so normal bus service will resume then.
