Transportation Related Dining Question

On our last day, we have a Chef Mickey's reservation at 8:45am. We are staying at Caribbean Beach and was wondering how feasible it would be to take a bus from the resort to MK and then either walk or take the monorail to the Contemporary for our reservation. I know the busses start about 1 hour before park opening, so I'm guessing around 8am that day. If we got in line early and got the first or second bus, could we make it in time or do you think I should just call an Uber? And how early would you recommend we try lining up to ensure we are one of the first?

i can't speak on that exact trip from Caribbean to Contemporary. however my general rule is anything resort-to-resort takes twice as long as you think.

i ran into trouble last week two times doing this. and another thing i learned is ubers are pretty cheap (at least compared to what i'm used to in CT). take the uber and have a stress free morning IMO.
