- Can I walk from the TTC to the Polynesian? If yes, how long does it take?
- when Epcot opens at 9AM, at what time does the monorail service start to get from the TTC to Epcot?
We are trying to figure out our park hopping day, starting at Epcot and finishing at MK with extra hours. We would have parked at Epcot, but that park will be well past closing time when we finish our day at MK, so need to park at MK, then get to Epcot prior to rope drop. We will have checked out that morning from AOA, but can apparently use free parking until midnight on the day we check out?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Yes. Walk to TTC from Poly is approximately 5 minutes. The walk to the Great Ceremonial House is about another 5 once you are on Poly property.

I think Epcot monorail starts around an hour before park opening.

Yes you can park at TTC on check out day.

Thank you! And, just to be sure, we are still allowed to partake in EMH on the day we check out of our onsite hotel?

Yes.

Epcot Monorail hours can vary some from week to week these days.

Here is this week's schedule.:)

Where does the Polynesian fit in? Do you have an early breakfast there and then trying to make rope drop at Epcot? Since you have a car I would just move the car with me instead of trying to figure out transport times. Drive to Epcot, then drive to TTC for Magic Kingdom.

But how easy will it be to find a parking space at the TTC around 2PM on an evening EMH day?

I would drive too. You should have no problem getting a parking space at TTC. Why did you ask about the Polynesian? You can not park there unless you are staying or have a dining reservation. The Parking at the Poly is the most limited.

Unless time to get to Epcot in the morning is an issue, I would park at TTC and take the monorail to and from Epcot. Seems a lot more fun and relaxing to me! Also, getting to TTC via car isn't going to save you much time vs. the monorail, once you factor in walking to the car in Epcot, and waiting for and riding the tram at TTC to get to the monorail or ferry.

I asked about the Polynesian because we were debating parking at the TTC and walking to the resort to catch a bus to Epcot. I was just concerned that the monorail from the TTC to Epcot wouldn't start early enough

Driving between the two will be best, unless you're very eager to take the monorail.

I think perhaps the above poster isn't factoring monorail wait time or the amount of time it takes to walk up and down the monorail ramps.

First, WDW transportation timing is always a bit of a toss up; sometimes you time the bus/monorail perfectly, other times there are waits and delays. Many times over we've encountered monorail delays.

Second, walking from the TTC or park gate to your parking space is mostly faster than taking the trams, and usually not a long walk. Again, there's clearly some variability, but with a 9am or earlier, OP should get an Epcot spot close to the gate.

I say if the OP has a car, the most reliable way to go between the two is to drive. It is probably also going to be the fastest.
