Okay, experts. What is the best way for my family to get from the airport (MCO) to The All Stars Music Resort~~~and it has to be -F-A-S-T- because we arrive around 2:30PM (without any air traffic delays--yeah right!! ) and we have to be at The Wilderness Lodge for a dinner meet at 5:00PM... :earseek:

Let's assume money is no object......just for the sake of argument, of course. ;) Then we'll work our way down until I can afford it. :D

I'm planning to use Tiffany this time, they do a 30 min grocery stop and we'll be staying at BWV so it will be great to pick up drinks and snacks.

This will be the first time, we've rented cars before.

I'm seriously considering using Payless Towncar. They are priced a bit lower, BUT mostly because I have read some posts as of late that concern me about Tiffany. Some have reported at not being picked up one way or another (arrival/departure) and I'm not sure that I'm ready to rely on them if they've been having problems. There is a couple who will be using them on upcoming trips that are going to get back with me and let me know how they liked/disliked them.

I'm not trying to run anyone off from Tiffany, but reading posts about not being picked up from the airport scare the dickens out of me.

Here is the link to Payless. Note they also have the grocery stop and coupon.

Tiffany is great... and I have also used Mears Town cars.. I have used the same driver for a while.. I think a towncar is the way to go...

I would use one of the town car services if there were more than just me in my party. It doesn't pay for me to use a town car by myself. I really like the idea of being met at the airport and being taken directly to your resort. If you go with Mears shuttle service, they put you on a bus with people going to a few different resorts and you have to wait your turn. It's not too bad, but it would be nice to go directly to the resort. I'm always sooooooo anxious to get there. :D

Thanks guys! :) I have to run out and get a manicure right now (OH LIFE IS ROUGH! :D ), but I'll check out these links this afternoon. :)

Thanks again.....Lord I love you guys! :) ;) :)

Tia,

I almost think it would be cheaper for you in the long run to use a towncar or sedan service. I think Mears runs something like $27 per adult round trip and probably $15-$18 per child. With the coupons you can find on the internet, it might just be a lot less hassle and money spent on Mears.

Tia,

I always us eNational Rental Car's Emerald Aisle CLub. I get my luggage,
go pick a car out of the E.A. row and I'm off!!!!:)

I use Tiffany Towncar service. I have used them 4 times now and have benn very satisfied. I have never had a driver be anything but early. I have used them when traveling with my DH and I have used them when traveling alone. I like the feeling of security that I get when I travel alone knowing that they will be waiting and I get direct service.

After some bad trips with Mears and Transtar, I vowed to never use a shuttle again!

I personally don't like to rent a car. When I go to Disney, that is all I do. I only want to see the airport, and WDW. I like not having to worry about construction, getting lost, parking, etc.

Good Luck with your decision! I have already booked TTC for our Dis-Con trip. My DM is so thrilled! She has seen me pull up in the towncar, but has not had the fun of riding in one!

Tia-

We have always used Tiffany. They are always early, and will be waiting for you by luggage pick-up. You don't lift a finger. They get your luggage, bring it to the car, you get in, and off you go. They will stop at the grocery store for you as well. All the drivers have been extremely friendly. They are also cheaper then Mears for a family of 4. I always reconfirm with them the day before we are leaving, or that day, depending on flight times.

Thanks everyone. I'll call tomorrow and make my plans....then I'll let you in on the final decision. :) Really, thank you so much. :)

Okay, I made my decision. :) After reading all of your posts and consulting with family, I decided to make a ressie with Tiffany. :)

Thanks again. :)
