transportation question

Hi people! I am new to the DIS board. Just registered a week ago. Have been reading the board religiously! Anyways, will be cruising with my DH, DS 4 & DS 2. Our very first cruise, and we're all SOOOOOO excited about it! We will be having DCL transfer us from the ship to a Disney Resort on our disembarkation day, since our flight out from Orlando isn't till 4pm. We thought we'd just stop by a resort, grab a bite to eat, and stroll around & kill time, before heading back to the airport. Couple questions about transportation: I was wondering if anyone of you have used the Meir (sp?) Transportation Services? Or any other suggestions on getting us back from the resort area to the airport? I've read about Happy Limo, but don't you need a child car seat? Since we're flying in from the west coast, we won't have our car seats for my DSs. Any suggestions/recommendations are greatly appreciated! Our cruise is 2 months away! Thank you!

Most all , will want to pick u up to take u to airport 3 hours ahead of time... we have used mears but would
recomend a town car service in stead...

I would not recommend Mears. We use MurreyHill Transportation...the town cars are super clean and the drivers are hilarious. It's transportation and a show!!

How do we find info on MurreyHill? I have never heard of this company before.

Murry Hill Transportation is at transportation2disney.com. These guys are awesome. I highly recommend them...they kept us in stitches going and coming, very professional, cars/vans are clean and smell good!!

Thank you for your suggestions. I will look into Murry Hill Transportation. 2tinksmom & Hygiene99, have you had bad experiences with Mears? Just wondering.

We did the Mears shuttle bus ONCE!! It was a bad experience for us...it took at least 1 1/2 hours to get to our resort and forever to get the luggage out (it was mixed up with other people's who were going to a different resort). On the way back, we had to be waiting for the bus a ridiculous amount of time before our flight. A car service is much better and we've found Murry Hill to be competative if not cheaper in price!
