Silly question...

On our arrival day, I have made ressies for the CA Grill. We will have plenty of time to relax and unpack at the YC before having to head over the Contemporary; however, what is everyone's suggestions as to getting there WITHOUT going through a park? We will not be renting a car.

My parents did this the last time when we stayed at the BCV; however, it was on a day that they had already used their park passes (we have park hoppers) so they just swiped through the entrance/exit of Epcot/Boardwalk, walked through the park, and then took the monorail from the front of Epcot to the CA Grill. This time I want to avoid swiping our park passes just to walk through Epcot, not to mention avoid the crowds inside the park.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Just take the bus from the Yacht Club to the Magic Kingdom. Instead of entering the park, either walk over to the Contemporary (about 10 minutes?) or hop on the resort monorail.

I would agree with either of the above suggestions. If you have a couple of free dollars, I would recommend taking a cab, it will save you the worry about will the bus get you there in time.

Or if you have extra time, take the bus to MK, walk to CR and walk around a bit.

I'm for taking the bus to MK and walking to Contemporary. Cabs are expensive and it sounds like they have time.

I would agree with taking the bus to MK and then walking to CR. Note that from the MK Bus Station the distance to the CR is almost the same as to the MK monorail station.

An alternate would be take the boat to DHS and then the bus to the CR.
