Transportation Question please..

Hi Guys
For the first time this year we are considering doing Disney with no car and relying on the transportation system but I have an important question. We are going to be there for over a week and my 7yr old wants to do Universal Studios also. How do we get to Universal from a Disney Resort? Has anyone ever done this and how did you do it? thanks so much. FYI we will have our 2 year old with us also.

Haven't done it myself but Disney does have a rental car company on site which you could use just for that day.

I believe there is a Mears shuttle, you could rent a car, or you could take a cab?

Sorry no one responded....maybe you should have mentioned that you're thinking of sneaking your children into WDW without tickets. That usually draws in the crowds Sorry..kidding people. Anyway, I've never been to Universal, but the only way I can think of is to call a Taxi. The concierge at the resort should be able to help you with that. Hopefully, someone else with actual experience will wander in here soon. Good luck!

Oh yes! That will draw the crowds!

I agree with the other posters. It would be down to renting a car for the day or taking a taxi. It definitely isn't something that Disney would be providing.

We used Mears shuttle, and it was great! The first day, we told them what time to pick us back up. 2nd day, we were smarter and took their phone number and called them when ready. (We were just really bored at Universal---well, I was---DH loved it).
