Hello!

I am looking for recommendations for taxi/car service for our upcoming trip. I’d like to prearrange our rides. We are a family of four with two teens.

Thank you in advance!

Assume you are flying? What airport are you flying in & out of?

Sorry I should have included that info! Yes, in and our from LAX

Prime Time Shuttle will be the cheapest (as far as I could find) All private rides, no stops.

Last time we used them was Feb. 2020. They were just fine. Have them booked for a trip later this year.

Any good suggestions for transportation options from SNA to the Disneyland Resort? We always used super shuttle in the past and now with that gone I’m not sure what to do. We have two kids and one of them will need a car seat either provided or I will have to bring one.

From SNA to DL we always use Lyft or Uber. Its a fairly quick ride compared to LAX and usually costs around $30 for standard or $40 for XL. Not sure on car seats since our two are older though.

Bring their car seats and take a taxi. I think they’re flat rate. Leather and clean ime

uber and lyft were super expensive last time we tried to get out of there. Demand drives up the price.

Yep ^^ bring car seat and taxi. Taxis are right outside baggage claim....easy and you can get a flat rate, though, meter is around $40 or so.....

I was there 2 weeks ago and the one time I asked a taxi for a quote they came in 50% higher than uber had charged for same route. So best thing would be to use the apps to get a real-time quote then ask a taxi for their rate before you use them.

THIS! ... I rotate between the cabs or Uber/Lyft. But I will also pay a bit extra to avoid the waiting that comes with an Uber/Lyft pickup, especially with a kid and a car seat to install.

We actually just completed a trip and used PrimeTime Shuttle. It was supposed to be a private driver with curbside pickup, but it did not end up happening. Then, on top of this, they actually transferred it to one of their rideshare partners, so we had to go to LAXit anyways. It was honestly a pretty big mess. In the end, I would say if you plan on going other places, rent a car. If not, just wait for the uber or lyft rides. It is not worth the trouble.

Supershuttle actually have returned but I'm not sure if they go from SNA - their service to / from LAX was reinstated a little while ago. https://www.supershuttle.com/
They are now known on the website as SuperShuttle Express, but the same staff team are involved who were there before. The original closure did create quite a gap in provision. Maybe it is best to give them a call and see what the deal is.

Public transportation might be good for one or two people, but for a family of four I think the shuttle is going to be your best best. Uber is likely to be more money I think. Especially now, seems like Uber prices have skyrocketed.

Getawaytoday has discounted shuttle tickets through Karmel shuttle that I read about on here somewhere. I used them on my July trip and had no issues. https://www.getawaytoday.com/tickets
Do you know how far in advance you have to book them? I'm thinking of booking them to take us from Disneyland to Universal but I'm still on the fence. Our trip is in a little less than 3 weeks, so I guess just trying to figure out how much dithering I can do before I have to book (if I choose to go with them)

Honestly I don't know. I would call them and ask so, you can plan better.
