First time Cruisers are a bit confused on the transportation to and from Island excursions.

We are planning on doing three excursions on the Eastern Magic in October. Can anyone tell us if the actual transportation to and from those excursions is included in our cost?

TIA
N&G :cool1:

Yes, the transportation is included. You will get information listing where on the ship to meet, at what time, for your particular excursion. For example, we did the Captain Nautica excursion in St. Thomas, and we met in Diversions at noon and then were transported via van to the speedboat's dock in town, and vice versa on the way back.

Thank you kindly ZeldaCruise!!! :earsgirl:

Also, is it true that if you are on a Disney excursion that they will hold the boat for you if you are late returning? I thought I read that somewhere...

Yes, that is true.

Zeldacruiser,

we did the Capt. Nautica too! Wasn't that a blast!!!!

Why did you have to take a van though? Was the Magic not right at the dock?

When we did it, we stepped off the ship and it was right there. In fact, we waved to Morgan and Kevin as they were loading up the next group.

Just curious.

Musicgirl, you are so right - Captain Nautica was a blast! It was one of the high points of our trip. And then, after we were all done with snorkeling and just starting back, someone spotted dolphin and so we spent about 15 minutes circling around them, watching them jump out of the water. Morgan was our first mate and I think our captain was Mitch (not sure because my daughter and I secretly referred to him as Captain Ron, after the movie with Kurt Russell). Also loved the snack - expecting a bag of chips, and they pull out platters of melon and shrimp! Anyway, maybe the difference in transportation was because we docked at Crown Bay, rather then the normal dock (don't know what it's called). We had the afternoon tour. At breakfast at Topsider's, though, I did look down and see a Captain Nautica boat pulling up at the end of our dock. So, who knows?
