Transportation from THV????

Will there be a boat stop for the THV? I am assuming bus stops? Anyone know about that??

someone posted that in the permits there was a boat dock mentioned. I may just go to member's Wednesday this afternoon to hear what they have to say about all the new news.

Yes, I remember seeing a boat dock listed among the facilities in the permits.

It would make sense to include it on the Port Orleans shuttle, as it would be on the way there. If they put the dock to one end of the property, they could probably include it on the SSR/OKW shuttle, but that would be about a quarter mile walk for some (still shorter than the Carousel to SSR dock).

Then again, if it is part of SSR (or at least will share SSR facilities), a shuttle between the two would be good.

My educated guess is that there will, of course, be bus stops and I'm hoping for a boat stop!! I think there will be but only time will tell!

Back in the day golf carts were available for guest use at the tree house location, but somehow I don't think they'll bring that back although that would be fun for guests to get around internally. Guessing that bus from main area of SSR will be scheduled to stop at THV area as well.

I asked about the THV today after the meeting and was told that all they know is what was in the email sent out and what is on the DVC site. I was hoping to get some idea of points but was told they haven't been revealed yet. Got a copy of the brochure that was mailed to all members on Mon, Tue and Wed of this week and the point structure for BLT is in it. The drawings of the rooms make me really think it won't be one I will be interested in owning. A stay in a studio for Sun-Fri sometime may be in the cards if it will be possible to book at 7 months - maybe I will be able to trade a BCV reservation for a BLT.
