Transportation from St Pete/ Tampa

I have found really good airfare from a local airport but they fly to St. Pete/Tampa airport. We were planning on having a town car pick us up at the airport to our resort anyway, but does anyone know of a Transportation service that will pick us up there and take us to Orlando?

A couple of things

1. There really isn't a Tampa/St Petersbug airport. There is the Tampa Airport and the St Petersburg/Clearwater airport. Make sure you know which one you are flying in/out of. Tampa is closer to MCO and a big airport with lots of rental car options. St Petersburg is farther and a SMALL airport with VERY few options.

2. This comes up a lot and so far no one has come up with a shuttle service from Tampa (TPA) to Disney.

We fly in and out of TPA all the time and it is a breeze! I would rent a car ... even if it's one-way from the airport to Disney. An advantage of that is you can also stop at a grocery store to pick up snacks at a much cheaper price than at Disney. If you go with a one-way rental I would select a Alamo or National so you can drop off/pick up at the Car Care Center or the Dolphin. Be aware that some companies (like Dollar) have a fee for dropping off in a different city. You would want to compare the price of 2 one-day rentals with a rental for your whole time. The longer rental *may* be cheaper.
