Transportation from SNA to Disneyland area

Hi.

Looking for recommendations for transportation from SNA to the disneyland area (no hotel picked yet). We are a family of 4: 2 adults, an 8 yr old and 4 yr old.

We used to take the shuttle but have switched to grabbing a taxi. For us (family of 3) a taxi was only a little bit more than the shuttle and we don't have to wait for the shuttle nor do we have to wait for other people to get dropped off first. There is a minimal wait, if any, for the taxi and it takes us right to the hotel.

We've always had a good luck with the Disneyland Express. Yes you have to wait for it and drop other people off but it works well for how we travel.

Normally I fly into LGB, so the Disneyland Express isn't an option, but last time I flew into SNA and used it. It's fantastic! It's pretty cheap and kids are free (up to 3 per paying adult), which is nice and no car seats are needed. It was definitely cheaper than going back and forth to LGB using Super Shuttle or Taxi. For your family, it would be $70 round trip.

We needed to bring our son's booster seat when we used the shuttle and since he is *ahem* on the smaller side of average, we still bring it to use in the taxi.
