transportation from resort to resort by bus

I was just at Disney this May but this issue did not come up then.

I dont remember seeing bus's going from resort to resort after the parks close.

For example: leave one of the parks at closing time take a bus to Coronado for dinner then need to get back to POP for the night.

How would this work?

If you want to use Disney transportation, you would have to take a bus from Coronado to DTD, then transfer to a bus to your resort.
