Transportation from resort to Port Canaveral

We are going on our first Disney cruise next June. Right now we have a reservation for the night before the cruise at the MCO Hyatt. We're now thinking of changing to a two night stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge before the cruise. About how long does it take for Disney transport from the resort to the cruise port?

It will depend on how many stops your DCL bus makes while you are on the bus, and if you were the first resort for pick-up or the last. I don't have experience getting a bus from AKL. I would plan on 2 hours. Port Canaveral is about 75 minutes away from Walt Disney World.

This summer we boarded the bus at All-Star Sports (first stop). Our bus then went to the Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Caribbean Beach before heading to Port Canaveral. We were on the bus for 2 hours.
