Transportation from MCO airport to Port Canaveral

I am planning a trip 12/06 on the Disney Magic. I was wondering if anyone has flown into MCO if so what transportation did you use to get to Port Canaveral? Thanks for any assistance/advice.

You will get various answers on this question. First, you can utilize DCL's transfers which are the buses. They charge per person. If you have more than 3 people, a limo service will probably be more economical and much nicer, some people feel. You can rent a car at MCO and drop it off near Port Canaveral if you want to stop somewhere before getting to the ship. A one-way rental, with discounts, can be very inexpensive. With DCL transfers, you get to be with all others who are cruising (sort of group excitement), you don't have to deal with your own luggage, and I believe, if you get held up because of your flight, they may be more accomodating. With the limo service, you don't have to wait until it fills up (like the buses) to leave to go to the ship. It's more luxurious and intimate and cheaper if you have more than 3. With the rental car, you can go make stops along the way, if you want to, and may be the cheapest of them all (with good discounts). You will see various threads on here about different limo companies (the good, the bad and the ugly). Read them all and make your own decision. Good luck.
By the way, we did DCL's transfer one way and limo the other way. I prefer limo.
