Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for shuttles or this type of transportation from the DL area to USH? We want to spend one day at USH and the remainder of our trip near DL. I looked for hotels near USH but the cost is like double the cost near DL. So, now I'm thinking I might stay near DL and take some sort of shuttle to & from USH. This will be for myself and DD19. I don't want to rent a car which I know is cheaper as I don't drive that great in LA traffic so car rentals are out and I don't want to take a city bus either as it doesn't feel that safe to me. So, and suggestions on shuttles for a decent rate would be good to hear. Thanks!:o

I did the ... Greyline bus in late May 2016. It was fine. I went on a Monday, so even though we arrived after opening and had to leave before Universal closed, we managed to do everything.

When we arrived, the wait time for Harry Potter was 20 minutes, so we quickly rode it twice in succession. The rest of our time there, the wait time was 45 minutes or more (at least each time we checked). We lined up longer to eat lunch at the Three Broomsticks than we did for the ride!

My only suggestion would be to do Universal before Disneyland / California Adventure as I found Universal to be underwhelming after spending four days at Disney. The upper / lower lot travelling was also annoying (especially when everyone seems to insist on blocking the width of the escalator steps, instead of standing to one side to allow people to pass).

May I ask how much per person it was? And this does sound ideal. I like the 20 minute wait for HP. Do you know if they take reservations at the three broomstick?
