Transportation from Coronado Springs to the Dolphin

I just booked us reservations at Shula's Steakhouse in the Dolphin at 6:00pm. We will not have a car on property, so what is the best way for us to get from CS to the Dolphin? If you think we should take a taxi, how long should we allow and what do you think the cost will be?

I definitely think a cab is the best, but I'm not sure on time or cost as we always rent a car. The concierge at Coronado Springs can tell you once you arrive, though (and likely call the cab for you).

Why not take the bus to DS, then either take the boat or walk to the Dolphin? For my Sept/Oct trip I have ADRs for the Flying Fish and Yatchsman. That's what I plan on doing.

If your ADR is early enough, I would take the bus to DHS (as aubriee said) and then the boat to the Dolphin - it is a really nice little trip. I would leave an hour before your ADR time though. If you get out to late to go back that way, just take the bus to DTD then to CSR.

A cab (as Aimeedyan said) ,would be a LOT faster, just not as romantic.

I have to say go for the taxi idea. You will probably be well dressed, or at least better dressed than normal park attire, and the a/c units on the firendship boats are hit or miss. I wouldn't want to be dressed nicely for dinner, then swelter on the boat, even for the 7-8 minute ride to the Swan/Dolphin. It could happen.

Another option would be to bus to AK, then catch the S/D bus from there, though I suspect the bus to HS and boat to S/D would be the quickest way using WDW transpo.

Taxi is quickest and most direct way. CA concierge or bell services should be able to help you figure the cost. I'd ask about that, and if it is too costly, then fall back on the HS and boat route.

I am pretty sure there is not a boat going from AK to anywhere. Maybe you meant bus? Doesn't AK close really early?

why not just plan on being at dhs or epcot that day and walk or boat over when you are ready to eat.
