Hello everyone
I had a question about transportation from Orlando airport to port - do you all use Disney's service which i have read is 70/person one way and 35/person returning? Anyone use a car service (town car, limo etc)? And if so can you recommend a company? I have found one online Happy Limo that seems to get good reviews and is almost $100 cheaper than Disney's service.
Thank you

Disney Transport is $70 round trip per person.

For us, we have a small party of 3. So it is cheaper to use that then a town car and we don't want to deal with the hassle of a rental.

If you have a tighter connection at MCO (on the return trip) and you have to check bags, the car may be the better option as well -- it drops you off at the ticketing level rather than the ground transport level.

Happy Limo was $140ish for a minivan from the port for us. Since we are a family of 5, after tipping, was almost exactly what disney transport would be.

Going to the port, the car companies will make a grocery stop for you, if that's needed.

Ok so it's only $70 round trip? I am not sure where I read it was 70/person one-way and then returning 35/person. Thank you

$70 RT per person. So my family of 3 pays $210 and then a small tip to the driver. :)

DCL transfers cost $35 per person one-way, which comes to $70 per person round-trip ($35 to port + $35 return). You may book only one-way -- either pre-cruise or post-cruise -- if that's all you want.

Private car service/limo will likely cost less for a group of 4 or more. If there are just 2-3 of you traveling, rental car is probably the only cheaper option as limo may run similar cost (or more) as DCL transfers.

Enjoy your cruise!

For us, it depends on exactly when we are flying into MCO when deciding on transportation options. If getting in the morning of the cruise, I would just use the DCL transfers. It's easy, they handle your luggage, and you start getting your "Disney fix" right away. If flying in the day before, it will also depend on some other factors. If getting in early in the day, we would probably rent a car and spend the night at a hotel in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. If getting into MCO in the evening, we just stay at the Hyatt in MCO and then take the DCL bus in the morning.
