Does anyone know how much it would cost to take a limo or a taxi from Orlando Int'l Airport to the Port Canaveral pier? Our flight is arriving just prior to the departure of the last transfer bus that Disney offers!

last October i think i paid 93 bucks one way, plus tip with Happy Limo.

Many of the towncar services have coupons (I have coupon for Happy on my website). A towncar is definitely cheaper than a taxi, and depending on the size of your group, it's often cheaper than the Disney buses too. Also, it's very convenient. :D

Tiffany Town car is the service I use every time I am in Orlando...and I am picky, believe me(if you don't believe me just ask the DRIVERS! lol!)
It is 80$ one way to the Terminal for a Towncar that seats 4..
85$ for a van that seats 10 (I think)...if you are like me, and have tons of luggage, go for the van(request Jerry if you take the van, he is amazing)
Keep in mind the Town car takes fewer bags...
Tiffany also has a coupon for 5$ off on their website...
You will definately get there quicker, and with less hassle..

see their website @ www.tiffanytowncar.com

We used Cartier Limousine Service and had a stretch limo for $100 (plus we tipped $20). We were staying at an airport area hotel and I believe the price is the same from the airport. The service was great, the limo was incredible, and was a great way to start our cruise!! We didn't need it, but they will stop at a store if you want to pick up beverages along the way, and also free drinks were provided in the limo....

Assuming your party is more than 2 people, I think renting your own car is the least expensive, most flexible, but an inconvenient means of transportation. Depending on individual preferences, it may be favored by some (like moi). ;)

For our May trip, I reserved a full-size car from Avis for both ways. The total cost (incl. taxes & fees) is $97. Carseat rental is $8 each way.

Does anyone know whether the taxi, towncar or limo provide carseats for young children? If not, are they exempt from the carseat laws?

you might want to consider renting a car...Dave's site does a wonderful job offering differences between 4 rental agencys with pick up at MCO and drop off at port. We've gotten rates for $38 (full - Avis) and $52 (van - Budget) one way.

Check out this wonderful info;

good luck

Annie12345,

Do you have the phone number or website for Cartier Limo Service? I am renting a stretch limo with Happy Limo but they charge $154 one way (including gratuity).

Thanks

TX000 - Cartier Towncar's website is www.cartiertowncar.com. Their phone number is 407-239-1515; fax: 407-465-0052; toll free: 866-407-1515. They have some specials right now for return fares as well. Our driver was Kash and he was really nice...
I did quite a bit of research for pricing with the other limo companies and this was by far the best...

We can always get a carseat or booster when we use Tiffany Towncar. I have been very pleased with them, and have used both the van and the towncar (never a limo.) Last time we drove to port (Avis), but it was soooooo nice to be picked up in a cool, clean towncar after getting off the ship.

Don't mean to alarm you, but aren't you taking a risk with flight delays?

I was looking at Cartier's website, and does anyone know what the rates are for the SUV Limo? It looks huge! I'd love to ride in it. ;)

Ya, but our flight is not until later in the afternoon. Having a rental car is not only cheaper, but I can also swing by Downtown Disney to have lunch & to kill a few hours before heading to the airport. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

So, do they charge you extra for the carseats? I'm sure you'd have to prearrange it with them. I can't imaging they carry them around in the trunk. That would really limit the luggage space.

CaliforniaDreaming - If you send Cartier an email, I found that they answered it really quickly and could give you all the pricing information...

ReneeSam - Just wanted to say "HI" - it was great meeting you on the MAGIC...
