We have an ADR for 8:00 for Donald's Breakfastosaurus on a non EMH day. We'll be staying at POFQ. When I made the ADR, I was told transportation doesn't start until 1 hour before park opening. Since AK doesn't open until 9:00 that day, transportation would not be available to get us there by 8:00. I've also heard that special buses are available for early breakfasts. :confused3 Can anyone tell me for sure if transportation is or is not available for an 8:00 ADR on a non EMH morning? Thanks for your help!

Be out at your bus stop by around 7:00 am. A bus to Animal Kingdom will most definitely come along within a few minutes. When you get to the AK gate, find the turnstyle with the "Donald's Breakfastosaurus" sign and your name will be checked off of a list and you can enter the park.

DO NOT take a cab, as the parking toll booths do not open till about 8:15 so you will be late.

When we had an early breakfast at cindy's I called the desk and they sent us a car. I would ask at the desk when i check in. Good luck and have fun!:cool1:

The early buses are really the best way to get to those ADRs. There have been a lot of reports of having to wait until an hour before the park opens if using a cab.
The buses are intended to get you to the park for your early seatings. If you have an ADR at 8:00, leave at least an hour to get to the restaurant. I would leave a bit earlier in fact....about 6:45, especially for Donald's. It's really nice to just wander around AK when it's pretty empty. If you leave it too long, you'll have to rush to get to the restaurant and lose that special empty park time.

I know the early MK buses start at 6:30 am and the boat that runs Ft. W/WL/Cont starts at 6:45 am, but I THINK the Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom buses from the resorts start at 7:00 am.

So if you are out there by 6:45, you will be on the first bus out to AK.

Thanks for the info! I had the exact same question! However, we will be sure to tell guest services we are waiting before we go to the bus stop.

Guest Services will just tell you to be at the bus stop to catch the early bus. When I was down in March, we had an 8 at CP. The 6:45 bus had at least 20 people on it for Poly, Chef Mickets, Cindy's and CP.

I was hoping there would be transportation around 7:00-7:15. Is there really transportation as early as 6:45???

There are actually a lot of people with ADRs as early as 7:00!!! I have seen the buses running at 6:30, even a bit before. They may not be as frequent as the 'regular' buses, so be out there early!!

We've waited before for 45 minutes for an early morning adr at the bus stop. If the only way in is the bus, we are defintely telling Guest Services to call a bus, even if it's already on its way! It's better to check than to stand there for no bus! We learned our lesson last time and missed our ADR. They would have let us in to eat but we didn't want to waste valuable am park time.

Just so that you know...Guest Services does not call buses. The buses are on their own schedules....that's why we routinely tell people to plan on at least an hour to get from point A to point B. As I said before, the early morning buses are not nearly as frequent as the regular buses....if you get there just as one has driven away, you may have to wait a half hour or so. Better to have too much time on your hands at the other end...at the restaurant.

:confused3 They did for us when the AK bus didn't show up. Everyone waited 45-60 minutes. Not sure if something unusual happened?? Everyone was pretty frustrated.
