Rental car from National with Emerald Aisle service:
HOW EASY! I'm still a sucker for the cheapest rate, but I will always work my darndest to get the lowest rate at National, cause it was so easy picking up!
Dropping off was another story. There were cars up the wazoo in the drop off area, and they had NOBODY telling me where to go. Should be easy enough, I know, but I really was clueless and almost ended up leaving the garage because nobody was telling me where to leave the car.
We picked up a Stratus 2-door. The Service Engine Soon light came on midway through our rental, so we called National. They told us their locations were on the map, and that we could take it back to any location. Since we were at the Beach Club, we decided the Swan would be the easiest place to go. Well, even though their map SAYS the Swan, the location is actually at the DOLPHIN. I was MAD. But they upgraded us to a convertible, so they made up for it!
We made no use of any busses.
We did use the monorail, since we were at the Polynesian. It was VERY convenient to not have to deal with a bus, or the TTC parking lot, but it took a LONG time for that resort monorail to complete a loop at MK closing. I counted 5 express monorails in the time it took for the resort loop to complete. And it also irked me that people were using the resort loop to go to the TTC. It was crowded and this was the off-season. My personal opinion is that they need to check for a resort ID to board at MK closing. It seems like people would have gotten out quicker on the Express anyway!
