Transportation cards

My DS8 just finished getting all 25 transportation cards -- these are little trading cards for the boats, monorail, bus system. You can ask the various drivers for these cards. Just thought I would share in case this was something that your child would find fun to collect.

Congrats! I'm still trying to get the last couple I need to finish my collection. I see that he has 25 cards in the picture but there are 2 versions of card 25, one with the peach monorail and one with all the monorails. Did he get both? There's also a first set of 18 cards that aren't out much anymore. If he doesn't have all those, he's got another collection to work on.

This looks cool, but I've never heard of it before! So you can literally just ask any type of transportation driver for one (and they know what you are talking about) and hand them out?

A CM driver for the trolley in Magic Kingdom said they don't have trolley cards.

Sometimes a CM won't have any cards on them but you can always go to the transportation info. kiosk.

Never heard of these, but I'm sure the boys will love trying to complete a set this year. Who doesn't love free WDW souvenirs?

we almost collected a complete set last year. the bus driver, ferry captains (and crew) and monorail crews were all very helpful and seemed as though they wanted us to have the cards. Those that didn't have any cards would ask others for the cards. it was really fun to collect them, I made sure that my children would ask the CMs something about their job, before accepting the cards. My children really opened up and had a wonderful time talking with the ferry crews, I am a boat captain so they felt a connection.
