Transportation Between Resorts

This may sound like a stupid question but it's our first trip home where we are Hopping between DVC Resorts at WDW. My family and I are staying 6 nights at SSR and checking out to do an additional 2 nights at BCV, 8 nights in total (Obvioulsly DUH). My question, which you probably guessed is, does WDW offer transportation and luggage transfer from 1 resort to the next, during a stay, or will we have to actually have to take regular transportation buses to the transportation hub then to the 2nd resort? Don't care if they charge just as long as it is easy.

they'll move your luggage for you, but you would have to take the bus to the hub to get to the second resort, or just take the bus from DD to BCV

Hey I'll take that! They'll move my stuff I just have to get there. I can't ask for more than that! I forgot that DTD is just a short walk away and we can grab the bus to BCV from there. Thanks for the Heads UP!

We always move from 1 resort to another at Disney. Of course, Disney makes it very easy! You just call bell services to pick up your luggage. They will move it to the Beach Club, and you can have it delivered to your room after you check in at the Beach Club that afternoon/evening. You just tip the bell people and they'll take care of everything.

We usually just take off for the parks from our 1st resort after they pick up our luggage. And then at the end of the day we take transportation to our 2nd resort from the parks. Then we check in and get our luggage.

If you want to check in at the Beach Club early that day (you will need to if you are on the dining plan so you can get your rooms cards) you could take a boat to Downtown Disney, then take a bus from there to the Beach Club.

That really was a BIG help! We are in fact on the dining plan and that info was BIG. The park will have to wait a bit so we can get our room key/cards and continue to feed.
