We are staying on site and plan to take advantage of early entry on each parks designated day but have been warned that by afternoon the crowds in the EE park will be greater than on other days. So we are thinking of hopping to a different park after lunch.

My question is about the actual logistics of this. How do we get from MGM to Epcot? Both the easiest way and the fastest way.

Also, just the reverse how do you go from Epcot to MGM?

Also, I have heard that no buses go from Resort to Resort. Is this true? For example we are staying at The POP and we arrive on a Sunday afternoon. We have that afternoon and evening to do what ever we want but we do not want to waste a full day park ticket. We thought we would wander around and check out some of the other places like Animal Kingdom Lodge. How do we go from Pop to AKL?

Do the resort buses run from the Ticket and transprtation center?

I guess what I need is a good Disney bus route and schedule!
::yes::

Buses do not run from resort to resort, buses from the TTC do not run to the resorts, except for Wilderness Lodge.
There are buses that run from each park to another. I know there is a bus from MGM to Epcot, I assume there is a bus from Epcot to MGM.
In order to get from your resort to another resort you actually have to take the bus from your resort to the nearest park to the resort you want to get to, get off at the park and then get a bus from the park to the resort you want to go to.
It is generally faster to take a cab

Exit MGM and go to the left for the boat to the Boardwalk. Go up the ramp and come down the other side and take the boat to Epcot or walk around Echo Lake to International Gateway. This is quicker if no boat is on the horizon.

I'm going to move this to our transportation board for you. The experts there know all the answers about this topic.

You do not need to get off the baot at the BW. The boat you get on at MGM will take you to Epcot (and If you stay on, back to MGM).

Thank you everyone. Those were the exact answers I needed!

I thought about posting in this thread to begin with but when I read the other posts here it had more to do with getting to Disney not getting around Disney! :hyper:

Like everyone else we are trying to savor every second we have and want to find the best way to do everything! ::yes::
