What is the quickest way to get from MGM to Epcot and vice-versa?

Also, how about from AK to DTD?

Thanks

There is bus transport between parks.

There are no direct park to DtD busses. I would go back to my resort and transfer there, or drive.

There is a boat from MGM to Epcot, the ride that is very relaxing, and it only takes about 20 minutes. It will drop you off just outside the International Gateway of Epcot. :cool1:

If you at the front of epcot or want to get to the front of Epcot, take the bus or your car. If you are in WS or want to get to WS, walk.

When I was at MK, I wanted to go to DTD. A CM told me of the closest Disney hotel to go to, and change buses there for DTD. This saved me a lot of time since he gave me the closest hotel to go to to catch this bus. And it was very helpful since it was raining! ;)

From AK, I would ride the bus to AKL and switch there to the DTD bus. There is no direct bus transportation from the parks to DTD.

The quickest way to DTD to any park is by car or taxi. Definitely NOT the quickest, but will work if you aren't in a hurry, would be to go to the nearest resort and hop a bus to DTD... or if going from DTD back to a park, do the opposite. Those are the only ways... sorry!:(

Care to share which hotel was recommended?

I wish I could remember. It was whichever one was the absolute closest to that particular theme park. Any CM will be able to best steer you in the right direction. And this applies at any theme park. I just can't remember which one I went to that particular time. It was dark and rainy. I just wanted to get to DTD! I think I would have ridden a goat, if it would have been faster . . . and drier! :earsgirl:

If you are the MK, the closest would be the Grand Floridian which is the last stop before going to DTD. Taking the boat to the GF is best, as it will be the last stop on the monorail loop.
