Transportation between OKW and SSR

Can you take a boat from OKW to SSR? We will be staying at OKW but would like to try the pool at SSR. If so, how long of a boat ride is it? Do you go to Downtown Disney first? Thanks.

SSR is the first boat stop on the way to DTD. I think. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm pregnant and seem to have lost much of my brain matter. It's a short enough ride, and pleasant.

Although the pool at OKW is a ton of fun - I can't ever get my kids off the sandcastle slide! Have fun - we're heading out to OKW tomorrow until the 15th.

There are 4 ways to get to SSR from OKW. You can drive if you have a car. You can take a bus to DTD and eventually SSR. You can take the boat, but that only starts running later in the morning (maybe 11 or noon?). You can walk the path from building 55 and cross the bridge just before reaching CDS and enter SSR that way too. Times will vary for all of these choices. Driving is definitely the faststest. Walking will take about 15 minutes from the time you leave building 55. The pontoon will take about 15-20 minutes once it leaves, but bare in mind it only runs on the half hour. The bus can take quite awhile or very little time, depending on th schedule, and if you walk from the DTD bus stop to SSR or wait for an SSR bus.
