HI - can't seem to find what other transportation options exist for getting between Epcot and DHS. Isn't there a boat or something? Is there a walkway?

If there is a boat, is it very stroller accessible???

If there is nothing but the bus, is there a bus directly from Epcot to DHS or do you have to transfer at the TTC first?

No direct bus. There is a boat and a walking path you could take.

There is a boat outside the entrance to DHS to EPCOT. It is a 30 minute ride and is stroller friendly. It does stop at 2 other stops before EPCOT and once at EPCOT you can only enter the park as you unload at the back of the park and there is no other transportation there.

The walk takes 15-20 minutes, the boat takes about 25-30 minutes.

Exactly right. The boat travels really slow. But it is fairly pleasant and at least you are off your feet. Depending on where you are in Epcot you could either take the bus if you are toward the front of the park or the boat if you are in world showcase. I would try and avoid walking across Epcot for either mode of transportation. Both will get you there just fine.

Maybe I'm losing my mind but I thought there were direct buses from some of the parks to the other parks. I thought there was a direct bus that went from DHS to MK which would be your fastest route. This would take about 15 minutes assuming it's direct.

If that doesn't exist you could take the bus from DHS to CR and walk. That would likely be the fastest.

Thanks I was hoping there was a direct bus to MK entrance. I was checking transportation wizard and it said the dhs bus went to ttc and then monorail would be 40 min. Hoping there is a quicker way. Bus to CR is a good idea as well.

There are direct buses between Epcot/Hollywood Studios, Epcot/Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios/Animal Kingdom.

When going from Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom to the Magic Kingdom there is a bus, however it goes to the Transportation & Ticket Center. So from there you would take the Express Monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom. Then there is also the option of taking the Contemporary bus from those parks and using the walkway to the Magic Kingdom.

Finally when going from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom you take the Monorail from Epcot to the Transportation & Ticket Center and once again you take the Express Monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom.

Well thanks for confirming that I was not losing my mind. I knew we took a direct bus from AK to DHS and recall standing in a long line for a bus from DHS to Epcot (we wound up walking).

I wonder why there aren't direct buses from DHS to MK? Seems odd they offer them between some of the parks but not all of them.

Thanks everyone for the input. Great to hear that there are 3 options for Epcot to DHS.

1) For the walking path: where is it at Epcot? In the park? Out of the park? Does it take you to inside DHS or just the entrance?

2) Where is the boat at Epcot?

I think I'm really having an off day on the boards as I'm coming up short on my searches for info and maps. Sorry...

It's very busy there. Driving in and out of there is tricky at peak times. But there is plenty of room at TTC. Another reason is that the DTS would need more buses and drivers. That makes sense. I guess AK and DHS are closer together so going all the way to the TTC would be silly. Hence the direct route. But since the TTC is on the way to MK it's probably easier to route through there.
