1. From the MK, is there a boat and a bus to WL?

2. From the MK, can you bus to DAK? Do you have to go to TTC first? The disney site says from MK to DHS, get bus at TTC; but for DAK it says just bus.

3. From DAK and DHS, does the bus go to the MK?

4. What routes go through the TTC (besides the monorail)?

5. Does the Disney site not make sense?: (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/animal-kingdom/)
Transportation From Animal Kingdom theme park to
Disney's Magic Kingdom theme park
Take:
Bus to Monorail or Boat, then transfer to Bus

6. From DAK and DHS, do the buses go straight to the MK resorts or do you need to stop at TTC first?

7. Are there buses from the BW to all the resorts? (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/destinations/disneys-boardwalk/transportation/)

8. To get to ESPN WWOS, bus to DHS and then bus to WWOS? Or do you go to AS, Pop, or CBR to get a bus?

There is a sticky on the transportation board called the "official how to get from point A to point B thread" with lots of that info, and lots of helpful transportation gurus to answer any other questions.

I see transportation information lots of places, but its not matching up. This information was from the disneyworld.com site, but not sure if its correct.

1) Yes
2) You have to transfer to bus at the TTC
3)You have to transfer at the TTC- no direct bus from DHS or AK to the MK front gates
4) From the TTC you can get a bus to AK or DHS. Resort buses leave from the MK front gates. You can take the boat to MK instead of the monorail, and you can catch the monorail to epcot.
5) Lost me there...
6) The buses will ALWAYS go straight from the resorts to the parks
7) I don't believe that there is a bus to Epcot from the BW resorts
8) I believe you have to bus from the resorts to WWOS, I don't know of any buses that leave from the parks to go to the WWOS. Then again, the only time I go there is for Marathon weekend, which has special transportation.

I was with stargazertechie up until numbers 7 and 8.

7. There are no buses that run directly between the BoardWalk area and any of the resorts. If you want to get to BoardWalk from a resort (and you don't want to take a taxi), get from your rresort to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and then from there walk or take a FriendShip boat.

If you already happen to be in Epcot you can also walk or take a FriendShip boat to BoardWalk. But if you are NOT already in a park, it is better to take a bus to DHS than to Epcot ... it's a shorter walk to BoardWalk from the DHS bus area (three-quarters of a mile) than it is from the Epcot bus area (just over 1 mile). In addition, you'd need to use your park ticket to enter Epcot if you want to walk through it ... no big deal if you have a park hopper ticket and have already been to a park that day, but it would be a big waste to use a day off your park ticket ONLY to use Epcot as a transit-way.

If you are headed to the BoardWalk area from Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, you can take a bus from that park to BoardWalk Inn.

8. There is, in fact, a bus from DHS to WWoS.

I'm not so sure of that, anymore.

DHS did USED to be the "hub" for buses to/from WWoS.

I believe that a few months ago that changed
(about the time they changed the NAME of WWoS to "ESPN Wide World of Sports.")

AFAIK, Disney now provides transportation at the All Star Resorts, Pop Century and
Caribbean Beach to/from the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

This didn't make sense to me why it was listed that way... if I'm going from AKL to MK, I'd take the bus to the TTC, and then Monorail or Boat across the seven seas lagoon... not sure why there's a transfer to another bus.

Thanks Robo... that's what I thought. There's so many websites that list information, that its hard to know what's up to date. I'm guessing though we will want to ask, since transportation is monitored and routes are run based on needs.

I agree - no bus from DHS to WWOS now because they moved the transportation to All Stars (I know that but not sure on the others)

AND it is not regular.

I wanted to go to WWOS one day to check for something and I was staying at Sports. I asked about where to get the bus for there and they told me that the bus only ran if there was an event(s) going on. I could not just get a bus to go over to eat/shop/look around.

I'm not sure about THAT, either.

In general (and has been proven time and again) the resort CM's don't know anything about the bus system.
They don't ride it, and they can't even see what buses stop there from their workplaces.

With the new "hub(s)" for ESPNWWoS being moved from DHS to selected resorts, I have a feeling that there ARE (now) regular runs that did not used to come by unless there were "groups" there that arranged for them.

Again, I'm not sure (as I could not care less about anything that happens at ESPNWWoS ;) ) but I think things have been changed with regular transportation to the venue within the last couple of months, and many at WDW may not know about those changes.

I'm going to move this to our transportation board.

Yes, the "then transfer to Bus" is incorrect. It looks like the person that input the information did so incorrectly, especially since it states to bus directly to the Monorail or Boat and not TTC.

Now if you are going from AKL, which you indicate in your second quote, then it would be a direct bus to MK and bypass the TTC.

It is true.

Disney Sports has decided not to run buses to EWWS on "non-event" days. And on days when there are events, the hours of bus service depend on the event schedule.

Any bus driver can tell you whether the buses are running and what the hours are. If they claim not to know, tell them to look at the bottom of their park hours sheet.
