Transportation after the cruise?

I feel silly asking this. For years I have been hyper-planner about our Disney trips but now that I live here it's actually harder to plan some things!

Most of the large town-car companies don't transport to or from residential areas. So we will need a cab, and Mears does offer this service.

Does anyone know whether there are cabs there at Port Canaveral waiting to pick people up (as in people who don't necessarily have a reservation)? It's not that I can't bother to make a reservation, it's just that no one (Happy Limo, FL Tours, or Tiffany Town Car) will take me home after my cruise!

This is the repo, so in CA we are taking a cab from DL to the ship, but hey if anyone has a recommendation on that end, I'd appreciate it!

Have you tried magictransportation.com? They seemed to be quite accomodating & very reliable. Mention the dis board for a discount.
