Transport to Mercado (Int Drive)

We'll be staying at the Wyndham Palace, near Downtown Disney, for four nights. I'd like to spend one evening browsing around the Mercado. I was wondering what's the best transport to use to get between Downtown and International Drive. We will have a car for the duration of the holiday, but we would like to have one or two drinks (strawberry dacquiris in the Mercado main square are delicious!) and would prefer not to drive.

Should I rely on taxis?

We're going to use a taxi on the nights that we're having a drink.
I think its easier all round

I would use taxi's. The only bus that runs that way goes from the TTC to Seaworld, which is the bottom end of I-drive, so you'd then have to either change buses or get the I-trolley to the Mercado. It'll be about $20 each way inc tip.
