Transport to Christmas Party early a.m. taping??

I just got my confirmation that I can be part of the Christmas Parade taping on Friday, Dec 2 in the early morning. But, since I won't have a car, I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get to MK from BWV. They will be emailing me a voucher that allows me entry and then free parking at the TTC that morning. They tell me to then get on the monorail to MK. If this is earlier than the buses would get me there, could I take a cab and still be able to get in, using the voucher?

I don't know what time you need to be there, but the Character Breakfast buses start running something like 6-6:30am every day. You can take one to the MK.
You can also take a taxi to the Contemporary and walk (ten minutes) to the MK entrance. If you want to ride the monorail you can take a taxi to any MK resort and do this. Taxis are normally waiting outside all WDW resorts. If one is not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away. Just keep in mind that you cannot take a taxi to the MK. Only Disney buses are allowed near the MK entrance.

I did a taping for an early morning at MGM in May and there was no transportation available. We had a car so didn't have any problem. Since there is such a small group of folks doing the taping that may not have a car, I would think you would need to arrange your transportation on your own. We too are doing the taping, but signed up for the Friday 2 (later morning) session. Maybe you can also post a thread looking for some carpooling from other guest going. We have a car, but there are 6 of us, so are filled.

I guess I could just go to either the Contemporary or TTC. There really shouldn't be an issue with a cab going in. If someone had just arrived at the airport and was going to their resort a cab could go in...duh!!! So, I think I'll just grab a cab, if the early buses aren't running yet, and go to the TTC.

Not to change the subject, but how were you able to get in for the taping? Did you have to sign-up somewhere? We're going to be down there during that week, and would have enjoyed taking part.

Also, I'm not all that certain that those breakfast busses start running that early. I thought the earliest that busses start is 7:00.

The info is on the passholder website. Once there you can click to email your info to attend. the 2 sessions for Saturday were already filled. There are 2 sessions for Friday. I sent my email in on Monday morning and got my confirmation last night to attend the second morning session. They will send us the voucher to get in on Nov. 28th.
