We will be going to WDW for the first time in December. We decide to rent a car, but we are also fine with Disney transportation if that is the best option on a day.

We are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort. I have questions about transportation for two of our days. Please critique both plans.

1.) Saturday of our trip we will be going to MK and then ending the evening at the Polynesian. After a bit of research my plan is to drive to the TTC and take transport to MK. Is monorail or the ferry better? (Not just time but experience.) After a day in the park we will take the monorail to the Grand Floridian and walk to the Polynesian or take it straight to the Polynesian depending on the time and our energy level. We will be having dinner at the Polynesian followed by Electric Pageant and Wishes Fireworks viewing. After wishes we will walk to the TTC from the Polynesian. I read that there is a path to walk there. Is there a path from the Polynesian to the TTC and if so how long is it? Anyone see a better way to get around on Saturday?

2.) On Sunday we will be going from CSR to Animal Kingdom and then ending our evening at the Animal Kingdom Lodge after dinner at Boma. Should we drive to the Animal Kingdom in the morning and then drive to the Lodge after we leave the park? I've read that the parking lot opens up late in the morning. Are we able to park at the Animal Kingdom Lodge all day and then take a bus to Animal Kingdom and back? What is our best option?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
