Transport Outside the World

Hey all,

I'll be staying at ASM in Dec. I've only been to Disney with a car before. This time I'm relying on Disney Trasportation. If I want to travel outside the world, like to Sea World, how do I go about that?

Do taxi's come to the resorts? I'm sure I've read they go to the TTC, do I head there for a cab? Are there any buses to the big attractions?

I'm not sure I'm going to do this, I just wondered what my options are without a vehicle.

Not only do taxis come to the resorts, chances are there will be a taxi or two or four wating at your resort when you walk out the front door.

There's no Disney bus to any offsite attraction, naturally. If you get to the TTC (bus from your resort, then monorail to the TTC), look for the Lynx bus stop. The Route 50 bus goes to Downtown Disney, then SeaWorld next IF you tell the driver that's where you want to exit. See golynx.com for schedule and price information.

To get to Universal, see the sticky thread near the top of the list of threads on this board. Mears shuttle is available to SeaWorld as well; to arrange it (I forget if the instructions are there) simply dial "0" from your room phone at least a day before you want to go, and ask to be connected to Mears.
