I hope this hasn't been asked before, I've had a look and couldn't find the answer.

I'm looking for a recommendation for limo/taxi/shuttle from SFO to the Westin Market Street in San Francisco. There will be four adults so I'm not too sure if it will work out cheaper to use a taxi/limo.

Thanks :)

I haven't taken a taxi or supershuttle from SFO to the city in over 5 years, so I don't know the cost. If you are staying at the Westin, they might have an airport shuttle. That might be your best bet. You can also take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from SFO to the city, there is a Market St stop...

IIRC taxi was about $40 from SFO to downtown SF. If you're looking to save money BART costs $5.70 to the MacArthur station, but then you'd have to manage luggage, find the hotel after getting off of BART, etc. If it were me traveling solo I'd try it, but with others to think about I'd recommend the taxi.

Thanks guys, I think I'll take the taxi option as its cheaper than the shuttle and as you said jlmarr its a lot easier than struggling with four suitcases. Kerickson thanks for your suggestion if it was was just me and DH travelling we'd probably take the Bart but with two teenagers in tow I rather take the easier option :).

Is there any way you can fly into Oakland airport? Might even be cheaper

if so you can take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) it's actually not hard to take with luggage, I use to fly from LA to SF for business all the time)

if you have to fly in to SFO Cab it, and with gas prices, Plan to shell out abour $50+ each way.

Good Luck.
