Hello all. We're staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek next May. We won't have a car as neither of us drive. The hotel does have shuttles to the disney parks and disney springs which is fantastic. However, we would like to go get groceries once or twice, and possibly go shopping or eat out occasionally. I have heard that International Drive is good for restaurants and shopping. How do we best get there? Are there any other good shopping locations? We don't mind Uber/Lyft but public transport options would also be handy. We're not fussed about getting on buses or walking a bit.

The only relevant public transit is Lynx buses. You would first have to take the hotel shuttle to DS. I think the shuttle drops off in the same area as Lynx, which is a bus loop behind Cirque.

Lynx #50 runs between DS & Sea World. Near Sea World, you can transfer to Link #8, which runs the full length of I-Drive (including both Premium Outlets) about every 15 minutes on weekdays, less often on weekends.

I would recommend buying an All-Day Pass. It's only 50 cents more than a round trip, you don't have to mess with transfers, and you can ride up or down I-Drive as much as you want. As the web site says, be sure to ask for an All-Day Pass before paying fare on the bus, or order it in advance.

I find the area maps and schedule presentation for individual routes on the Lynx website to be not very well realized. For more detailed maps, including time points, download the Lynx Schedule Book pdf. Search for "Link 8" or "Link 50" within the pdf to find the relevant pages.

There was an I-Drive shuttle, called the IRide Trolley, that ran independently of Lynx, but it is not currently operating. In fact, Lynx #8 is currently using some of it's stops.

Thank you. Very helpful

Another thing you might look into is grocery delivery services. I've never used one because we always have our car, but I've read good reviews and know that the pricing is pretty reasonable from what I've seen. They might offer a better option than spending an hour or more each way on a bus.

Grocery delivery services are plentiful in the WDW area, but you also need to check whether WBC will accept and store your groceries.
