Transport. for 5 (incl. toddler) f/SNA to DLH?

What do you recommend for our family of five (DS-2yrs will have a carseat for the plane ride)? We are not planning to explore LA, just hanging out at DLR for the five days. We will arrive at SNA rather late (10:40pm) and leave early (6:45am). TIA!

Shuttle service?
Taxi?
Rental car?
Something else...?

Can't answer your question, but a note, we are taking a shuttle from SNA to DL and the shuttle company called to remind me that we needed a booster seat for my dd who is almost 5. Check the laws in Calif you may need boosters for up to 6 or 8, depends on the state.
