Transport between Hotel

Next month we will be visiting SSR. Obviously our first time but also our first time away from the Poly. What we like most about the Poly is the fact that it was near the Ticket and Transportation Center. It was vey easy to hop between hotels and the parks.

My question is, staying at SSR, is there any easy way to hop between hotels other than getting transportation to a theme park and then to my destination hotel. An example would be we will attend a fireworks cruise departing from the Poly. Transport from SSR to the Poly is not easy.

1) Any suggestions?
2) Are their Taxi's or shuttles on property?

Taxi's are readily available at all resorts and theme parks.

We stayed at SSR last month and one night we had PSs at Boma at AKL. We walked over to DTD (a 10 minute walk) and picked up the AKL bus from DTD.
