Transport BACK from water parks

I know that we need to transfer at DS for TL and AK for BB (When open), but do we need to do the same to go back to the resort, or are there direct busses?

Getting to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park from a Disney Resort Hotel

Bus service is available to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park directly from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
From all other Disney Resort hotels, please take the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park and then transfer to the bus to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Bus service to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park begins 45 minutes prior to water park opening.
Bus service from Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort ends one hour after water park closing.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park remains closed at this time.

But what about getting back?

You still have to go through AK or Disney Springs. I don't think they have direct buses back at this point.

This information is outdated. For the past couple of months, Typhoon Lagoon has been open, and Blizzard Beach has been closed for refurb.

I've posted this question in other threads, and it seems that the only way to get to and from TL is via DS (as previous poster noted, BB is currently closed). The consensus seems to be that you are better off taking a Lyft.

Yeah there isn't a whole lot of direct to and from water parks without going through either Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom.

It is the same going to and from the water parks.

Just budget for a Lyft/Uber. At the end of a day at a waterpark everyone will be tired and taking multiple buses sounds awful.

Oh, wow. We are doing a waterpark for the first time and had no idea there wasn't bus service! We are staying at AKL, so hoping we could at least hop over to AK rather than Disney Springs. Anyone been lately have info?

Blizzard Beach is still closed, so you will not be able to catch the bus that ran from AK. Only option currently is Typhoon Lagoon, and for that you need to stop at DS. (Or take a Lyft.)

We generally spit the difference, on the wat to the waterpark we just use the resort bus and take our time getting there especially since they open later than the theme parks. On the return however no matter how much we dry off and change we find the buses to be really cold after swimming all day so we ride share back to the resort.

I was at BB the other say, current transportation status:
