Hi Folks,

We'll be staying at WL in mid-Sept when the parks open at 9am.

2 questions.

Have 9am PS for Cindy's breakfast, will there be a boat that is early enough? It's not a MK early hour day. I'm think if we're at the dock by 8am, we'll have enough time. I think the ride is abt 10 minutes. I'm also concerned getting through security which should be busy since it's near opening.

Next, I have dd booked on the Pirate Cruise at GF. She must check in at 9:15. I'm unfamiliar with GF, so will probably need an extra few minutes to find the dock. I'm think it'll probably be best to take the boat to MK, then monorail to GF. My other thought is to take boat to CR, then monorail. What time shoiuld we leave? Would getting to the dock by 8am be enough time?

First off, the first boat leaves the WL dock at 30 minutes prior to opening of MK. So, if MK is opening at 9:00AM, the first boat will leave the dock at 8:30AM. That should give you plenty of time, but would be a little close for me. Your other option is to take the boat to the CR, and walk over to MK, that boat starts running at 7:30AM, or you can take a bus to the TTC and take the resort monorail from there. As to trying to get to the GF from the WL, I'd recommend taking the boat to the MK and then taking the boat to the GF (switch at MK). You will get dropped off on the dock near where the pirate cruise will leave from, so much more convient that taking the monorail. You can also take the bus to the TTC and then get on the resort monorail, that would be faster than taking the monorail from the MK.

I though they had boats for the early PS's in the park. The PS's start at 8am, even on non-early hour days.

No, the busses will run early, but the boat from WL to MK doesn't run early. The WL will instruct you to take the bus to the TTC and then get on the monorail. They don't start the boat early, since only a few people would need it, and the bus to TTC does start running at 7AM, I believe.

For the summertime, the CR/FW/WL boat starts service slightly before 7:00am. However, the MK boat will typically start service around 8:15. Earlier for EE. (Actual arrival times may vary)

Bus transportation to the TTC starts at around 7:00am. Actual arrival times may vary. From there, you can take the Resort Monorail to the Poly, GF, MK, or CR.


For your situations, you should be fine taking the first boat to the MK. You'll get there in time. As for the GF, take the boat to the MK, and then catch the GF boat.
